Raspberry Cider

| 5 pkg | 16 fl.oz. Safeway Apple Juice (1/2 gal) |
| 2 pkg | 12 fl.oz. Welch's Apple Grape Cherry Cocktail |
| 8 pkg | 12 fl.oz. Seneca Raspberry Cranberry Cocktail |
| 1 pkg | 4oz Raspberry Flavoring |
| 1 pkg | Vintner's Choice Champagne Yeast #3021 (liquid) |
| 2 tsp | Yeast Energizer |
| 1 lb | Yeast Nutrient |
Here are my (rough) brewing notes:
- Yeast broken early. I don't intend for it to get started properly.
- Boil 1 gal water
- Add apple juice
- Heat a second gallong of water to 160F
- Add to mix (I don't know why I did this... probably an oversight)
- Add the rest of the juice plus 1.5 gal cold water
- Add flavor, nutrients, energizer
- Pitched at 90F (too hot!)
This cider was awesome! I must try it again... though maybe with better ingredients. Or was this the batch that turned into vinegar? Damn, I don't know.
