I survived Halloween. I survived my wedding (November 23). I survived Thanksgiving. I don't know yet, though, if I am going to survive the job market... or December... or New Years. We can only hope.
I'm still pretty burned out from events stemming from 2000! The last three years have been busy and stressful -- even if the business and stress is good (halloween, the wedding).
So I'm coasting right now. In discussions with McGraw-Hill for possible new books, which would also signal a change of publisher. Nothing solid yet. Still chatting.
In general, though, I'm broke and busy. A poor combination for projects.
With any luck, some money will come in from somewhere and I can pay utilities and food next month, and rent in January.
